Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating risks and determining the appropriate coverage for clients. The ideal applicant will have a solid understanding of insurance policies and excellent analytical skills to assess claims and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide underwriting recommendations to the management team.
• Ensure quality control through regular audits of underwriting practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting or related field

• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)
