Job Responsibilities
  • Schedule and track shipments to guarantee delivery deadlines are met.
  • Support the team in developing logistics plans and practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting transport issues and delays.
  • Gather data analytics to assess performance of logistics operations.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure streamlined business processes.
  • Ensure documentation for shipping is accurate and up-to-date.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Diploma in Transport Management or relevant certification is a plus
  • Logistics Management Software Proficient in using logistics management systems for tracking and reporting.
  • Data Analysis Ability to analyze shipping data to find efficiencies.
  • Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving Adept at identifying issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • English (Fluent)
  • Afrikaans (Intermediate)
Advantageous
  • Proficiency in logistics forecasting: Ability to predict inventory needs and shipping schedules.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols: Knowledge of health and safety regulations in transport.
