Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage our logistics operations in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of goods, managing inventory, and liaising with suppliers and clients. This role requires keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills to maintain efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor supply chain operations to ensure effective performance.
  • Work with the team to forecast inventory needs and requirements.
  • Assist with the development of logistics budgets and manage costs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any client inquiries.
  • Evaluate and select logistics partners based on service quality and cost.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of goods within the distribution centre.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a logistics role with a strong understanding of supply chain processes
