Job Description

Adept Care Services is on the lookout for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services. In this role, you'll assess client needs and implement innovative therapy techniques. Emphasis will be on enhancing clients' day-to-day functioning, promoting independence, and supporting them on their therapeutic journeys.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations for new clients and assess ongoing client needs.
• Design and adapt therapy tools and materials specific to client goals.
• Engage in case management and documentation adhering to healthcare regulations.
• Facilitate support groups for clients and their caregivers.
• Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
• Participate in continual professional development and training opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical practices.
• Collaborate in research initiatives to improve therapy practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Certified in Hand Therapy
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in clinical research: Familiarity with conducting or participating in therapy-related research projects.
