Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Greenhouse Superintendent to oversee operations at our greenhouse facilities. The successful candidate will manage a dedicated team, ensuring optimal plant growth, health, and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily greenhouse activities and oversee staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices and safety standards.
  • Monitor plant growth and health through environmental assessments.
  • Establish protocols for pest control and disease management.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on operational procedures.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of supplies for greenhouse operations.
  • Develop strategies for increasing production efficiency.
  • Liaise with research teams to test new crop varieties.
  • Prepare reports on greenhouse performance and productivity.
  • Foster a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Horticulture or Agriculture
Experience
  • 5+ years in greenhouse management or related roles
Technical Skills

Languages
