Retail Floor Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Floor Supervisor to manage daily operations and lead our retail team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily retail operations with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Develop the skills of team members through training and mentorship.
• Control stock levels and ensure product availability.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies and in-store promotions.
• Evaluate sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Facilitate compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Address customer feedback and ensure high service standards.
• Coordinate store layout and visual merchandising.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding stock and product availability.
• Provide regular updates to upper management on store performance.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Degree/Diploma in Business Management or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in a retail supervisory or management role
