Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems while collaborating with various teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed project documentation and reports.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding project status.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues in electrical systems.
• Identify opportunities for improving processes and systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in electrical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree relevant to electrical engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles

• Power Systems

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SCADA systems: Knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with IoT applications: Experience integrating IoT technology with electrical systems.
