Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care and treatment options, and be adept at managing chronic diseases and acute illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Manage patient health education and preventive care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient encounters and maintain up-to-date health records.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and nursing students.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner

Advantageous
