Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret environmental data to inform project decisions.
• Collaborate with government agencies to secure permits and approvals for projects.
• Participate in public engagement activities to promote environmental awareness.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new sustainability initiatives.
• Review and ensure compliance of all project activities with environmental regulations.
• Analyze the environmental impacts of proposed projects and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Draft grant proposals for funding future environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in an environmental engineering role

• Environment Canada Certification
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification

Languages
