We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our fast-growing team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, and will be responsible for safeguarding our networks and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate recovery efforts.
• Manage the implementation of security tools and technologies.
• Engage with third-party service providers to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and vulnerabilities for management.
• Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or IT-related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Certifications

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

• Knowledge of ethical hacking techniques: Familiarity with ethical hacking practices to bolster security defenses.
