Animal Control Officer

Job Description

We are looking for an Animal Control Officer to enforce animal protection laws, investigate cruelty cases, and collaborate with welfare organizations. This role is perfect for those passionate about animal rights and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into reported animal neglect and abuse.
• Respond promptly to animal-related emergencies and rescue efforts.
• Work with law enforcement on cases involving animal cruelty.
• Develop community programs to educate the public on animal welfare issues.
• Assist with the rehabilitation and rehoming of rescued animals.
• Document all interactions with the public regarding animal welfare.
• Foster positive relationships with local shelters and veterinary clinics.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate or diploma in animal welfare-related fields

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the animal welfare sector
