As a Pharmacist with us in Bloemfontein, you will utilize your pharmaceutical knowledge to ensure optimal health outcomes for our clients. You will be responsible for managing pharmacy operations, providing medication advice, and being an integral part of the healthcare team responsible for patient health.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient therapy and adjust medication based on response and side effects.
• Provide guidance on over-the-counter products to assist patients.
• Assess patient medication history for potential drug interactions.
• Support in managing pharmacy operations and financial aspects.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives within the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with health professionals on patient care plans and medication adjustments.
• Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain licensure.
• Uphold pharmacy standards of practice and ethics.
• Handle patient complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
