Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' mental health status through assessments.

• Conduct therapy sessions using established therapeutic techniques.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in psychological research and therapy practices.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Doctorate in Psychology is a significant advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting

• Therapeutic Techniques

• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council
• Additional certifications in therapy modalities preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
