Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. This role involves developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients.
  • Document patient sessions and monitor progress towards treatment goals.
  • Work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure collaborative care.
  • Provide support and education to families of patients.
  • Participate in referral and discharge planning.
  • Engage in community outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements in practice.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate the public on mental health topics.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Registered Psychologist with HPCSA
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical psychology practice
