As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play an integral part in our consulting engagements. Your responsibilities will include calculating and forecasting risks, assessing financial stability, and providing recommendations based on your insightful analysis. Candidates should be detail-oriented, with good data interpretation skills and a sound understanding of actuarial principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain actuarial tools to improve efficiency.
• Perform experience studies and ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the actuarial department.
• Advise on risk assessment techniques and methodologies.
• Participate in client meetings to gather information and present findings.
• Mentor junior analysts and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Passed several actuarial exams is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in actuarial roles

• SQL
• Statistical Modelling Tools

Certifications

• Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA)
• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA)
