Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will manage logistics for our operations, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of goods. This role involves collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to streamline supply processes and optimize costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling of shipments and deliveries.
• Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast logistics needs.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to shipping processes.
• Coordinate with customs for import/export operations.
• Address and resolve logistics-related issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Supply Chain Management: Professional certifications such as APICS or similar will be an advantage.
