Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in residential units. You'll respond to tenant requests, ensuring residents are comfortable and safe in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication with tenants regarding scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Identify issues that require outside vendor assistance and manage service calls.
• Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in maintenance and repair.
• Collaborate with team members to improve overall service delivery.
• Conduct regular safety checks on units and common areas.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Building Maintenance or similar is an advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance

Technical Skills

• Preventative Maintenance

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
