Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to deliver high-quality psychological services within our Cape Town facility. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals facing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based therapy methods to clients.
• Conduct case reviews and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings.
• Educate clients about mental health resources and support services.
• Develop treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Support clients in crises and offer appropriate interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• PhD in Psychology is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical settings

Technical Skills

• Psychoanalysis
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Soft Skills

• Decision Making
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Psychologist
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Fluent in multiple languages: Ability to conduct therapy in various languages.
• Experience in community mental health: History of providing services in community settings.
