Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will manage administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operations within our healthcare facility. Your efforts will contribute to optimizing patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in their daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of information within the facility.
  • Administer patient registration and onboarding processes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate medical documentation.
  • Assist in establishing and enforcing administrative policies.
  • Monitor compliance with patient confidentiality laws.
  • Support healthcare staff in day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Conduct regular reviews of administrative procedures.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of office equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with patient outreach and follow-up communications.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on healthcare management
  • Postgraduate diploma in healthcare administration is beneficial
Experience
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting
Technical Skills
  • Experience with health information systems (HIS)
  • Understanding of medical terminology
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • Health Information Management Certification
  • Certified Healthcare Administrator (CHA)
Languages
