Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Machine Learning Engineer to join our Durban-based team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that solve real-world problems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful implementation of ML solutions, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on our clients and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable machine learning models.
• Evaluate data sources and develop data collection processes.
• Monitor and retrain models to adapt to new data.
• Collaborate with product owners to define project requirements and scope.
• Document technical processes and prepare progress reports.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of industry trends and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications in AI/ML are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in machine learning

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a similar role: Demonstrated experience in a Machine Learning Engineer position.
