Software Test Engineer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Software Test Engineer to join our team to ensure the highest quality standards for our software products. This role involves designing test plans, executing automated tests, and collaborating with developers to improve application performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Participate in the development and refinement of testing strategies.
• Conduct performance testing and validate application scalability.
• Support product releases by ensuring quality through testing.
• Review requirement documents and design specifications to ensure testability.
• Suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new testing tools.
• Foster a quality-focused culture within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or test engineering

Technical Skills

• JIRA
• TestNG
• Cucumber

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)
• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Docker: Understanding of containerization principles and practices.
• Knowledge of Cloud Testing: Experience in testing applications deployed in cloud environments.
