We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. In this role, you will design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource utilization and optimize costs on cloud platforms.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and protocols for cloud environments.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud infrastructure.
• Enhance monitoring and logging processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations for maintaining high availability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in cloud engineering or related roles

• GCP

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages
