Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Accountant in Johannesburg who will play a fundamental role in managing our financial health. You will be deeply involved in budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting to upper management. The right candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance.
• Compile and analyze financial information for decision-making.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management.
• Ensure timely submission of all financial statements and reports.
• Assist in developing financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Support in tax planning and compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documents.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance financial acumen.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA) preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
