Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Data Scientist based in Johannesburg who will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing complex data to help shape business practices. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from various sources to interpret trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data processing.
• Mentor junior data scientists and share knowledge across the team.
• Contribute to data product roadmaps and deliverables.
• Participate in strategic meetings to enhance business intelligence initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in data science or relevant analytics field
