Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Tax Consultant to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in tax legislation, compliance, and filing processes, helping our clients navigate through their tax obligations effectively while ensuring full compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client's tax situations and recommend solutions
• Assist in the development of tax policies for clients
• Train junior staff on tax preparation and compliance
• Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about tax obligations
• Build a strong network and referral base for new clients
• Monitor key performance indicators related to tax filing success

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's in Taxation beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Income Tax
• Value Added Tax (VAT)

Soft Skills

• Client Management
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Certified Tax Advisor (CTA)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or similar qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
