Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our compassionate team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and treating individuals with mental health issues, providing therapy and support to improve their overall well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic assessments and client interviews.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Work alongside other mental health professionals for coordinated care.
  • Provide regular reports on client progress.
  • Engage clients in identifying personal goals for therapy.
  • Conduct follow-up sessions to assess progress.
  • Maintain professional standards and ethical practices.
  • Assist in crisis management and emergency response.
  • Develop community programs to promote mental wellness.
  • Work collaboratively to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 4+ years of clinical experience preferred
