We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and networks from cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee a robust incident response plan.
• Work with legal departments to adhere to data protection laws.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
• Engage in threat hunting to identify potential threats.
• Maintain documentation related to security incidents.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during security breaches.
• Support the integration of security technologies.
• Review and approve security-related IT changes.
• Create awareness programs for staff on phishing and social engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
