Job Description

As a Nursery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a dynamic team, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our children. You will develop and implement educational programs tailored to various age groups within a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursery’s daily schedule and activities.
• Train and support the nursery team in best practices.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt learning activities as needed.
• Foster a positive relationship with parents and guardians.
• Maintain safety standards and instill a sense of community.
• Plan and organize educational outings and events.
• Conduct performance reviews for nursery staff.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for the nursery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Experience

• 5+ years in a supervisory role within early childhood settings

Technical Skills

• Conflict resolution skills
• Curriculum development

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
