Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections and necessary repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Document all maintenance and repair services accurately for compliance purposes.
• Stay informed on automotive technology advancements and best practices.
• Engage professionally with customers regarding their vehicle maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with a team of technicians and contribute to a positive working environment.
• Support the training of junior technicians and apprentices.
• Monitor inventory levels of automotive parts and supplies, making requests as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• National Certificate in Automotive or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with alternative fuel vehicles is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
