Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team to provide exceptional technical support and ensure our IT infrastructure operates smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting users, and maintaining IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-users with technical problems and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Configure and maintain various IT systems and software applications.
• Document and track incidents using our Help Desk software.
• Participate in technology projects and provide support during implementations.
• Maintain security protocols to protect sensitive information.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT Support or related field
• Bachelor's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in technical support

• Remote Desktop Software
• Operating System Configuration

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• ITIL Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools: Proficient in using Microsoft 365 for business operations and user support.
• Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM): Understanding of MDM solutions and how to support mobile devices.
