Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team to provide exceptional technical support and ensure our IT infrastructure operates smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting users, and maintaining IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues for users.
• Assist with installation and upgrades of software and hardware.
• Manage and maintain the company's asset and inventory records.
• Support with backup and recovery operations for business continuity.
• Provide training to staff on new IT systems and applications.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT Support or related field
• Bachelor's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in technical support

• Remote Desktop Software
• Operating System Configuration

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• ITIL Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools: Proficient in using Microsoft 365 for business operations and user support.
• Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM): Understanding of MDM solutions and how to support mobile devices.
