Job Description

Requirements

Education

• Medical Degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Fellowship in a surgical specialty is advantageous

Experience

• Demonstrable experience in surgical operations, at least 5 years

Technical Skills

• Robotics and minimally invasive surgery
• Critical thinking

Soft Skills

• Stress management
• Patient advocacy

Certifications

• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with electronic health records: Experience with EHR systems for managing patient records efficiently.
• Fluency in Afrikaans or other local languages: Ability to communicate effectively with patients in multiple languages.
