Responsibilities

• Examine pets and wildlife to diagnose and treat illnesses.
• Administer vaccinations and perform routine health checks.
• Provide emergency care to sick or injured animals.
• Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia as required.
• Educate clients about their pet's health and nutrition.
• Maintain clean and organized medical facilities.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and staff in daily operations.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Advantageous

• Experience with exotic animals: Understanding of the care and treatment of species beyond domestic pets.
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary medicine: Specialised training in certain fields of veterinary medicine.
