Looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer to represent our engineering services in Pretoria. The successful applicant will contribute to product design, development, and testing of mechanical components. Strong analytical skills and a practical engineering mindset are essential. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage in innovative design processes to improve existing products.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Analyze rotational and thermal systems using simulation software.
• Develop technical specifications for projects and contracts.
• Contribute to cost estimation and budgeting for engineering projects.
• Facilitate regular review sessions to assess project progress.
• Provide input on engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• ANSYS

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
