Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and analysis, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Your role will involve developing and optimizing complex mechanical systems, ensuring they meet all specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and conduct performance testing.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines during project execution.
• Analyze data and prepare presentations for stakeholders.
• Implement changes based on testing feedback.
• Participate in engineering design reviews.
• Support production teams with ongoing engineering needs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients as required.
• Document and manage project changes and modifications.
• Assist with budgeting and project planning.
• Provide engineering support during the installation phase.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Additional certifications in relevant areas are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in an industrial setting
