Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Textile Winding, Twisting, and Drawing Out Machine Setter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating and maintaining textile machinery, ensuring efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine settings based on the type of fabric being processed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with supervisors to coordinate daily production targets.
• Document all machine adjustments, faults, and overall operational performance.
• Assist in improving production processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving in the production processes.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate in Fabric Production or Textile Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the textile industry

Technical Skills

• Textile machinery knowledge

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
