Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing orthodontic treatments and a passion for improving patient smiles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures including radiographs and 3D imaging.
• Determine the best orthodontic techniques based on aesthetic and functional needs.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in orthodontics and incorporate best practices in patient care.
• Engage with patients to build a rapport and ensure their comfort during treatment.
• Work closely with dental hygienists and assistants to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health standards.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Science
• Master’s in Orthodontics or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical experience in orthodontics

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
