Ambulance Drivers and Attendants, Except Emergency Medical Technicians

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Ambulance Driver and Attendant to provide essential transport services to patients. The successful candidate will operate wheelchair accessible vehicles, provide basic first aid, and ensure the comfort and safety of patients during transport.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to and from medical appointments, hospitals, and other destinations.
• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle, including those using wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
• Provide basic medical assistance and first aid as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation services provided.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and dispatchers.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate Certificate in Emergency Medical Care

Experience

• 2+ years' experience in medical transport or related field.

Languages

• English: Fluent
