Job Description

The Hydroelectric Production Manager is responsible for managing the production operations of a hydroelectric power plant to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. You will oversee daily operations, implement production strategies, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance performance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the operations of the hydroelectric plant.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
  • Lead safety and training programs for staff.
  • Compile and present performance metrics to upper management.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance production efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to hydropower generation.
  • Implement quality control measures.
  • Engage with external stakeholders on sustainability practices.
  • Manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Foster a culture of safety and accountability in the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Certification in Renewable Energy is preferred
Experience
  • 10+ years in hydroelectric or renewable energy production, with 5 years in a leadership role.
