Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will manage inventory, optimize storage space, and ensure the efficient flow of goods. Ideal candidates will have proven leadership experience in a warehouse environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to maintain efficient workflow within the warehouse.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments to streamline processes.
• Analyze warehouse performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage relationships with vendors and external service providers.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
• Coordinate the resolution of any issues impacting warehouse operations.
• Develop and implement inventory control policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Software
• Supply Chain Optimization

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Logistics Manager (CLM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Previous experience with freight forwarding: Experience handling freight forwarding logistics is a plus.
• First Aid Certification: Certified in First Aid to ensure workplace safety.
