Job Description

As a Cargo and Freight Agent, you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and monitoring of the transportation of goods from one location to another. You will play a key role in ensuring that shipments are efficiently routed and delivered on time. The ideal candidate needs to be detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and transportation processes of goods efficiently.
• Work closely with clients to ensure their shipping needs are met.
• Prepare and submit necessary shipping documentation.
• Track shipments and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to improve service delivery.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with freight carriers.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office
• Customs Regulations

Certifications

• Relevant logistics certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
