Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Security Engineer to join our renowned cybersecurity team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security protocols to protect our clients' digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to mitigate security risks.
• Implement and manage endpoint security solutions.
• Engage in threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Ensure the organization complies with relevant security standards.
• Conduct penetration tests and recommend necessary improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT Security
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
