Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and providing expert advice on medications. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical care and a commitment to improving community health.

Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescription medications appropriately.
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients.
• Implement medication therapy management programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for patient care.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure accurate stock records.
• Educate patients about their prescriptions and health conditions.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with health regulations.
• Supervise and train junior pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience preferred

• Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
