Job Description

As a Furnace Mechanic Helper, you will assist furnace mechanics in installing, maintaining, and repairing furnaces and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and an eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance checks and assist in troubleshooting furnace issues.
• Help maintain proper inventory levels for furnace parts and supplies.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure safety standards are met.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve skills.
• Assist in the installation of new furnaces and systems.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment failures to supervisors.
• Collaborate with electricians and machinists on maintenance tasks.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities in mechanical systems.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Advantageous

• Experience working with furnaces or other industrial equipment: Hands-on experience with industrial systems preferred.
