Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health and recommend treatment plans.
• Perform surgeries, dental procedures, and routine care.
• Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventative care.
• Assist in developing a positive and supportive work environment.
• Document patient history and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Engage in community education programs regarding responsible pet ownership.
• Stay informed about new veterinary technologies and treatments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Master’s in Veterinary Medicine preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia Management
• Emergency Care

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist
• International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Continued education in the field: Commitment to ongoing learning and certification in veterinary medicine.
• Background in animal behavior: Experience or knowledge in behavior modification techniques in pets.
