Packaging and Filling Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Packaging and Filling Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating baling machines and ensuring the efficient packaging of recyclable materials. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of baling machines, ensuring materials are processed on schedule.
• Monitor and adjust machine operations for optimal output and efficiency.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and promote safety within the team.
• Report machine malfunctions and escalate issues to the maintenance team.
• Participate in safety training and workshops as required.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed to support production goals.
• Keep accurate production records and assist in inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during operation.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in manufacturing or related field is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
