Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical designs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
• Work with clients to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Implement improvements to enhance product performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials and components.
• Ensure safety and environmental considerations are integrated into designs.

Requirements

Education

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in mechanical engineering with a focus on design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Engineering Math
• Thermodynamics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards: Understanding of relevant engineering codes and standards.
• Experience with 3D printing technologies: Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing processes.
