Job Description

Apex Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pharmaceuticals and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and order pharmaceuticals as needed.
• Educate patients about health and wellness topics.
• Evaluate medication therapy outcomes and adjust as necessary.
• Report adverse drug reactions to the relevant authorities.
• Support the pharmacy in achieving compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.

Requirements

Education

• BPharm or equivalent degree
• Additional training in clinical pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community or hospital pharmacy

Certifications

• Advanced Pharmacy Practice Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
