EMS Pilot

Job Description

As an EMS Pilot, you'll be responsible for operating and navigating helicopters to transport patients in need of urgent medical attention. Your main focus will be ensuring the safety and security of all passengers while maintaining efficient flight operations.

Responsibilities

• Pilot EMS helicopters, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during transport.
• Conduct post-flight evaluations and complete necessary documentation.
• Work under pressure and adapt to unpredictable conditions while flying.
• Participate in regular training and safety drills to maintain proficiency.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on aviation regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of flying experience with a focus on EMS operations.

Technical Skills

• Helicopter operation and navigation
• Communication systems

Soft Skills

• Crisis management
• Interpersonal skills

Advantageous

• Experience in night operations: Prior experience piloting during night hours is beneficial.
• Search and rescue experience: Experience in search and rescue missions will be an advantage.
