Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Particle Board Supervisor to oversee the production processes at our facility. This role involves ensuring that all quality and safety standards are met while leading and training a team of production workers. Strong leadership and technical skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production meetings to discuss targets and challenges.
• Conduct training sessions for new employees on production techniques.
• Participate in audits to assess compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
• Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage and waste.
• Track production costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Wood Science or related field preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing
