Job Description

As a Mental Tester, you will conduct cognitive and behavioral assessments of patients with mental health disorders. Your role involves providing recommendations for treatment plans and monitoring the effectiveness of treatments. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing significantly to patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient mental status through interviews and standardized tests.
  • Document assessments and treatment recommendations clearly and comprehensively.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed for clients in distress.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health.
  • Build rapport and trust with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate on group therapy sessions as required.
  • Engage with community resources to enhance patient support systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • Master's degree in mental health, counseling, or a related field
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders.
